According to the reports, he passed away peacefully at his house which is located in Athens and he took his last breath in the presence of his spouse named Barbara and their 4 offspring. One of his sons was the former Tennessee Coach. But he declared himself entirely recovered and he was even ready to attend his daily book-singing session at the campus bookstore prior to 15th October. The football community is currently mourning and paying tribute to him. Though he is no more his legacy is always with us and he will always remember for the contribution he gave to the football community.
