Why Was Marivel Estevez Arrested?
The incident occurred on the 30h of July, around 11:15 am and Marivel was found dead by the police. Nassau County police confirmed that Marivel was found dead in her apartment. A CCTV footage was claimed by the police in which 55 years old Mark Small, boyfriend of Marivel was seen entering the house on the 28th of July 2022. The CCTV footage showcased Mark leaving the house on the 30th of July and he took away his dog Marivel along with him that too in Marivel’s car. When Mark was leaving the place after reaching about farther, his car crashed and the dog tried to escape but somehow even with the injuries Mark left the car and caught the dog as he was getting in front of the car.

Mark got in front of a vehicle and got injured. As said by the police, the accident occurred on the Long Island Expressway and He was then rushed to the hospital where he was detected with bone fractures. After getting treated mark was released from the hospital and he was arrested by the police charging him with third-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. The investigators when interrogated about the relationship between the two, Marivels’ family said that Marivel was not happy with the relationship and that their relationship was not working out. Marivel’s family members described that Marivel was decided to leave Mark and get back to Florida. While Mark was the former owner of Grotto restaurant which is in Rockville Centre.

It is been revealed that the hotel was recently closed down and it was managed by Buzzuto management company. Buzzuto said in a statement that they are devastated to hear about the passing of Marivel. They also thanked the Nassau police for their efforts. A go-fund page was initiated in Marvel’s name which has made nearly 10,000 dollars until now to help cover the funeral expenses of Marivel. Courtney Roberts Campaign organizer wrote about Marivel and said that Marivel was a loved person who would bring smiles to the faces of her loved ones and people who knew her. And would bring light up the whole mood with her beautiful smile. Police have revealed that they are investigating the case and the motive behind the crime is still under investigation.
