Thai Actress’s Dead Body Found In Chao Phraya River, Bangkok
According to initial investigations, the body is believed to be that of a 22-year-old woman named Panya Mamen. The deceased is believed to have run away from her home in Thailand in order to escape her parents’ wishes for her to become a princess. The purpose of her leaving home was reportedly to gain an ‘unpaid internship’ in Korea on the pretense that this would enable her to travel back home. Police have confirmed they have recovered the body of a missing Thai actress in the river in Bangkok. The body parts of the actress, who was on a floating seminar, were found on the bank of the Chao Phraya river in the area where the floating seminar is held. The program is aimed at giving training in foreign languages. The actress has yet to be identified, though authorities believe she was an unlicensed prostitute. Her name has not been disclosed by the police. The remains of a missing Thai actress have been found in the Chao Phraya river of Bangkok. Police on Tuesday identified the body as that of Jirak Suthilatham. She had gone missing since Feb 18, while working on a movie. The forensic examination had already suggested that she had been murdered and her legs were broken in the crime, however, the decomposed body found in the boat proved to be Jirak’s. Going by the latest update from Thai police, the body of Thanakorn Siripanich was found floating in the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok on Thursday morning. The Thai actress had been missing since April 2. The police added that they were not sure if it was the body of Thanakorn or that of another woman and there was a failure to establish the identity. In December, Thanakorn had been violently abducted and robbed by a group of six men as she was walking home in Nong Khai province. She was then forced into a pickup truck and taken away.
